Jared has issued a statement via his Facebook page today (March 24th) that he will not be competing in the first race of the Enduro World series. The 2014 World Champion suffered a training accident 12 days ago riding his home trails in Australia.

"Been a very rough 2 weeks and pretty gutted to miss my first major race as world champ. Unfortunately it isn't April 1st either"

Jared separated both shoulders and sustained torn shoulder muscles after hitting a tree. Somehow he has already been carefully riding his bike so it’s looking hopeful for future races. We know Jared is the type of athlete that will dedicate himself to coming back strong and we wish him the best recovery possible!

Send your healing vibes Jared's way, we hope to see him tearing it up on the World Cup circuit again soon!
