While prying round the Cane Creek stand we noticed a large pelican case behind the counter, now everyone knows that there is always something cool in locked case so we had a quick look. Inside we found a very interesting shock and a very interesting story. One of the Cane Creek employees loved riding with the DBcoil, but when he changed bikes he could not fit the piggy-back shock into his frame. Undeterred, and in his own time over the weekends he took some existing parts and fabricated this very unique inline shock. Offering the same performance advantages of a coil but in a slimmer package.

Seek and ye shall find, this shock is a real one of a kind

This shock is a total prototype and a complete one off, but Cane Creek are not counting it out as a possible production unit. The shock features the new climb switch and is claimed to be around 149g lighter than the DBcoil, and of course is compatible with a lot more frames. If you would like to see this shock go into production then post in the commments below and we will bend Cane Creeks arm.
