While the Australian company Zelvy is still relatively unknown on the European bike scene, the unveiling of their new bikes could see an upturn in their reputation. We’ve taken a closer look at their enduro-specific Highlife.

Das Zelfy Highlife, als Base-Modell aufgebaut für 4.600 € erhältlich.
The Zelfy Highlife, shown here in the Base model, costs 4,600 €.

Up until now, Zelvy had purely created rims, bars and frame protectors from carbon – but their increased know-how when it comes to crafting with carbon has seen their collection grow to include two gravity bikes. While the Preston is directed towards downhill riders, the Highlife’s 168 mm travel renders it an appealing proposition for enduro riders. Initially, the Highlife will be available exclusively as a frame set and in a Base model. The frame features 168 mm rear travel and weighs 2.4 kg. If you mount some 160 mm forks, the resulting head angle will be 65.5°. The chainstays measure 448 mm and the effective toptube length is 600 mm (medium frame).

Der Hinterbau wurde mit virtuellem Drehpunkt konstruiert.
The rear features a floating pivot design.
Der Unterbodenschutz aus Carbon übernimmt gleichzeitig die Zugführung.
The bashguard made of carbon also doubles as a cover for the cables.

The Base model will come with a price tag of 4,600 €, which includes worldwide delivery. Spec:
