So, racing is over in Chile, we have our 2014 leaders with Anne Caroline Chausson and Jerome Clementz, and again the organizers celebrate another amazing event. Special mention should go to Fabien Barel who looks to have broken a bone in his back! Despite racing two stages with the unknown injury, he made the difficult call to miss out Day 2! After X-rays, early news is that he has broken a bone in his spine, serving to demonstrate that sometimes you have to know when to stop and recover! We all know how fast Fabien can bounce back so we wish him a speedy and successful recovery. Here are some pictures from an exciting day of racing in the Chilean Andes!
