Kenda Nevegal 2, the comeback of a legend and updates of the Hellkat and Helldiver

The new Kenda Line Up for enduro riding: Nevegal 2, Hellkat and Helldiver – we like it!

Especially those who have been hanging out in the bike scene for a while will be familiar with the Kenda Nevegal. Things had gone quiet for some time, but now the tire is celebrating its comeback. However, Kenda didn’t leave one single knob in its place and redesigned the tire from scratch. Thanks to a trail-specific carcass, the Nevegal is supposed to be sufficiently puncture resistant. The EN-DTC dual-rubber compound on the other hand, provides sufficient grip whilst maintaining acceptable levels of rolling resistance. The tire is aimed at enduro and ambitious trail riders and will shortly be available in both 29 ” and 27.5″ with 2.4 “and 2.6” widths. Along the new Nevegal 2, Kenda has also presented a 29” version of the Hellkat and Helldiver, the Gravity Folding-carcass and the Advanced Trail Casing for both tires. The new folding carcass is about 80 g lighter than the Gravity-carcass but boasts a similar puncture-resistance. The Advanced Trail Casing is again significantly lighter (almost 300 g) and is mainly aimed at touring-riders who prioritise better rolling resistance.

The new Nevegal 2 is aimed at trail and enduro riders, weighs around 810 g in the 27,5×2,4” version and will cost € 59.
The new Kenda Hellcat is now also available in 27,5” and 29” versions and in different casing options. The weight fluctuates between 823 g and 1.169 g.
The Helldiver will also be available in different options. From now on, Kenda will have a suitable tire for all riders, whether they’re looking for 29” or 27,5” wheels or 2,4” or 2,6” widths.
