Topeak Pumpen & Tools

A lot of exciting news from the Topeak stand. As far as pumps go, the new Twin Turbo Technology is the manufacturer’s pride and joy. Each up-stroke motion compresses air inside a chamber and allows for more air at a higher pressure to be released on each down-stroke. Alongside the new Mountain TT hand pump (€ 29.95), we also find the same concept in the high-end version of the popular Joeblow floor pump, the Twin Turbo; this retails for € 199.95. With each pull-stroke big volumes of air move from a big cylinder into a second, smaller one. With each push-stroke, the air stored in the smaller chamber is released with high pressure into the tire. This technology is particularly interesting for voluminous Plus tires and tubeless setups.

Also available in the modified Mountain TT version.

For the new season, the evergreen Joeblow Sport was given a new handle, a new head and a 3” manometer. The € 39.90 price-tag has remained unchanged. Also, a posh version of the pump has been released, the Jowblow Pro X. The head adapts to the valve shape automatically and features an air-release button. The Joeblow Pro X also features an aero-shaped aluminium cylinder, a longer stroke, a massive top-mounted manometer for better reading and an extra-long hose. But also, it costs € 89.90.

Joeblow Sport III – small updates, same price.
The new Joeblow X is the Joeblow’s posh cousin and comes with a huge, top-mounted manometer.
The new Shuttle Gauge Digital can be used on its own or with any pump.

The Shuttle Gauge Digital is definitely one of the highlights amongst the Topeak novelties. It can either be used as a standalone-pressure gauge but can also be connected to any pump and features a fully rotatable head for all current valve standards and an air-release button.

The Ratchet Rocket NTX Kit features the wrench-torque adapter we already know from the NanoTorq.
The successor of the Hummer 2 is called Hexus X and features 5 more functions at the same weight.

There are also novelties in the mini-tools department. The Ratchet Rocket DX Kit now comes with an added T15 Torx and the new Ratchet Rocket Lite NTX-set now includes all three Torque adapters (4, 5 and 6 Nm) from the NanoTorq-Serie. This obviously comes at a price: € 79.95 for the NTX but the price of the DX Kit remains at € 29.90. The popular, affordable Hummer 2 was reissued with the new name Hexus X. With 21 functions instead of the 16 of its predecessor, it still weighs the same and only increased in price by € 3, now selling for € 22.95.
