The legend is back! In 2016, GT Bicycles is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its illustrious Zaskar by releasing four new carbon models of the hardtail. Once again we will see the triple triangle silhouette shredding the trails, but this time in smooth carbon. It’s not just the Zaskar that has received a restyle either, the Force, Sensor and Sanction have also been updated for 2016.

The 2016 Zaskar will feature a carbon frame with a modern geometry and 27.5” wheels. As GT states, the Zaskar should be “light enough for race and strong enough for every day use.” The bike will be available in four models with prices ranging from $2,300 to $5,000.

The Top model of the new GT Zaskar comes with a 1x11 drivetrain and a Rock Shox Reverb Stealth dropper post.

Additionally, there will be a Zaskar specifically made for the ladies: The Zaskar Comp Women’s.

The more affordable models come with two-by drivetrains and different colorschemes while the carbon frame remains through all the models.

The Force Carbon Expert sports a whole new look in 2016 with a graphic refresh, while the Sensor Carbon Expert & Pro models come with a new alloy rear end with Lock’r expanding axle system. Last but not least, the Sanction now comes in a new mid-level model, providing three choices for those looking to buy the popular enduro race weapon.
