After we already presented you the new, more reasonably-priced Santa Cruz Carbon frames, Juliana receives the same technology and offers a wide line-up of new carbon frames. Prices range from $1699 for the aluminum hard tail, to $8599 for a XTR-equipped carbon Furtado.

The new 2015 Juliana range now offers an even bigger selection of build and price options for women who take their mountain biking seriously.

“It’s been really fun working with all the girls on the development team,” says Kathy Pruitt, former World DH Champion and Juliana Demo Coordinator. “We’ve been trying out a whole bunch of different kit and color choices over the past few months, figuring out what we thought worked best and how to take the range up another level.”

And it seems to be working, with Juliana riders taking a clean-sweep of the Oregon Enduro Series podium in Hood River recently!

Race ready Joplin’s and Furtado’s come in a slew of customizable options and upgrades, with complete carbon bikes now starting from $3399 and $3599 respectively. “We’ve launched a new website to showcase all the choices, and simplify the process of picking and personalizing your dream Juliana” explains Katie Zaffke, Juliana Brand Manager. “The site is a spotlight on what proper women’s mountain biking has become… rider-driven product lines showcased by some of the World’s funnest female athletes.”

We’re also extremely proud, and a little bit giddy, about the new paint options we chose for 2015 too. Fresh and original colors mix with sophisticated finishes to complete a unique Juliana package that coordinates with some of this season’s hottest accessories.

New Carbon Frames

Juliana brings performance carbon bicycles to more riders in 2015. Utilizing a different grade of carbon frame on both the Joplin and Furtado R & S builds enables us to offer exactly the same strength and stiffness as our higher level bikes, with only a minor weight penalty of around 250-280g (0.6lbs).
