The ORBEA Enduro Crew took advantage of its team camp, on the ORBEA territory, to launch its second season in a row, aiming for the ultimate step to glory with the Enduro World Series 2014.

Winter has been studious at Orbea. After a promising 2013 year on the Enduro World Series, which brought the new Rallon R4 on a world class podium in the end of the season, it was time to go further! Working closer than ever with new partners as O’Neal and Monster Energy, each one is now ready to deal with the exigency of Enduro!

Simon André, who works very close to the Orbea Rallon R4 development, agrees that labour on the team’s bike once again pushes the boundaries of refinement: “This year, there’s reason to be proud of our team’s bike! Thanks to the team and our partners, Rallon R4 is entering a new era… again!

With the all black specs and neon yellow frame, R4 is as beautiful as efficient on the racing ground! “Test we already done with new DT swiss, RaceFace, Maxxis, Bos, Formula, MRP, Selle Italia and NST stuff confirm that we’ll spend less time working on the bike and more enjoying it against the clock!

Kind of good new for the Enduro World Serie team, aiming for his second world class season in a row. But to be sure to not miss the best of the year, the crew will play on all tables in an ever-growing enduro schedule:

  • Aurélien Demailly will focus on the french Enduro Serie and Megavalanche where he “wanna be fighting with big guns!“.
  • Simon André and Kevin Lorenzato will be chasing the classics as Shimano Epic Enduro, Les Terres Noires, Vallnord Maxiavalanche and more from where “the enduro is coming from and keep to grow with the riders values“.
  • In the meantime, Markel Uriarte and Santiago Lombo will be racing for the Open de Espana title.

Then, confident with their national results, each one will target a specific Enduro World Serie step, relaying the image of the team on top of the world.
