The organisation was delighted to welcome some girls this time, after the 2012 round without any! They catered for an excellent level of female riders, they rode without any technical problems through a vast array of technical stages. Lorraine Truong (Norco Enduro World Team) dominated the stages and took first in her category, ending 35th overall!
In the men’s category, the fight was between Ludo May (Norco Enduro World Team) and Emmanuel Allaz (BMC Crossroad) the winner of last year, this battle unfortunately came to a sudden end. At the end of Special 2, Emmanuel Allaz had an impressive fall after the landing of a jump. After this fall – fortunately without gravity – his chances of victory flew away. Not bothered by all that, the other riders were engaged in some great battles. However, with his direct rival out of the race, Ludo May had the door opened for the final victory and took the win relatively easily, gaining the fastest times on 4 out of 6 specials. Thomas Meyer ( Team Bisous) and Jérôme Lühti (PROF RaiffeisenCCL) completed the podium.
