The third round of the Montenbaik Enduro Series was held June 7th in La Canela, Chile. Fast and dusty stages made it a technical and physical race for all participants. Read on for the results and some exciting race action.

Junior Pedro Burns kill it at the third round of the Chilena National Championship Ssangyong Montenbaik Enduro by Santa Cruz. The 17 years old rider scored his third consecutive victory in Junior and the first of the season in Enduro 1 (Overall).

In the first and only visit to the Valparaiso Region, Pedro Burns (Mountain Works) led the youth in all special stages, reaching his third consecutive win in Junior and the first in Enduro 1 with a time 11:51.7, ahead of the winner of the Super Expert series: Milciiades Jaque (Master Bikes) 12:07.0; and the winner of the previous date, Pedro Ferreira (Extreme Zone Cycle Racing) 12:07.0.

The podium was completed by Felipe Junior Agurto (Intercycles Enduro Racing Team) with
13:31.3; and Fernando Riquelme (Santa Cruz), 13:41.8, while the third place in Super expert was left to Francisco Martinez (Ibis Cycles ­‐ Hope Tech) 12:26.0.

Meanwhile, in the Enduro 2 series, the winner was Diego Vaccaro (winner in category Promo) 13:13.8; escorted by Rodrigo Silva (Bianchi), also second in Promo, 13:34.2; and third in both groups,
Nicolas Klima, 13:36.5.
