For the second year running, the popular Scottish mountain biking centre Glentress will be host to the POC King and Queen of the Hill enduro race. The race is held during the Tweedlove Bike Festival making it a great destination for the whole family. The race is for riders looking for a great weekend’s riding on trails with loads of variety, who also want to enjoy the welcoming, family atmosphere of the Tweedlove bike festival. The event is professional, friendly, fast and fun, and perfect for riders of all ages and abilities. The course uses both trail centre trails and some secret local trails to add some spice, and with so much excellent riding in the area it is the perfect destination for a longer stay. The event has a number of timed downhill stages, and also a few timed uphill stages so is much more suited to a light enduro or trail bike.

Additional info:

The POC King and Queen of the Hill is a multi stage, single day race, with practice allowed on some stages. It’s open to everybody and is part of the excellent Tweedlove bike festival. Knee pads are strongly recommended and as there are usually a number of timed uphill stages, a trail helmet and lightweight enduro or trail bike would be perfect.
