Santa Cruz are the latest brand to offer us a glimpse at their 2017 line-up as they begin to offer aluminum versions of some of their popular models as well as a host of new build options.

For 2017 Santa Cruz is now offering the 5010, Bronson and Tallboy in aluminum, helping to drive prices down, make them more wallet friendly and as a result open the bikes and their VPP suspension design to a wider group of riders.

A new base model will be available at $2,999 (around €2705), this will come decked out with SRAM’s 1X11 NX drivetrain, FOX Rhythm fork, Rock Shox Monarch RT shock but no dropper post. However, opting for the model up at around an extra €800 will give you a set of Pikes, Guide brakes and a Reverb. The frame comes in the availability of two colour ways, ‘Slate Blue & Orange’ (shown above) or a ‘Matte Carbon & Slate Blue’ option.

Having recently updated the Tallboy, Santa Cruz are now offering the same up to date geometry in an aluminium counterpart. Initially launched with only three build kits and a single frame option, you can now purchase the Tallboy in a multitude of different specs and configurations including the two CC and C carbon options right through to the aluminium and CC frame only option for around €3400.

The 5010 also comes in a variety of different flavours with over 10 options across the board. Starting with an aluminium frame only deal at $1,899 (around €1700) right through to the top XX1 build on the CC frame coming in at a total of $7,999 (around €7200). There are two colourways to choose from, the ‘Gloss Red & Mint’ and the ‘Matte Black & Yellow.

Some higher speced models come with SRAM’s new 1X12 Eagle drivetrain, but if you prefer a 2X setup there are plenty of options on most models, there are a whole host of build and price options so head to the Santa Cruz Bicycles Website.
