On the Sea Otter festival we discovered a prototype of a new carbon trail bike from Norco. Based on the Norco Side, the developers designed a very light trail- and enduro-racebike with 140mm of travel and 650B wheels. Except the chainstays, the frame is made entirely of carbon fibre.

Highlights are Norcos know technologies such as the Gravity Tune, a size-dependent Geometry. With 427mm in size M, the chainstays of the prototype are extremely short.

the weight is 11,6 kg.

Probably the bike will hit the market in 2014 with one aluminium and two carbon versions – one with derailleur and one without (SRAM XX1!).
