The eagerly awaited beginning of the third SloEnduro season is just around the corner. It is all about to start for the third time with Enduro 3 Camini this weekend near Trieste in Bagnoli, San Dorligo Della Valle. This coastal event is growing year by year and Constantly there is no difference this year. After moving the event venue to Bagnolilast year and Including a stage starting and finishing in Slovenia in Italy in Val Rosandra, the event in this season will be even more spectacular.

Two day schedule with 8 special stages

Entire Two days of racing await the riders and no less than eight special stages with a total length of 56km and 2000m of altitude. Riders will head across the border to Slovenia Both days of racing. On Saturday theywill have to climb to the start of first stage in Beka, while on Sunday theywill have to undergo a stage starting in Socerb. Both stages are starting on Slovenian side of the border and finishing in Italy.
Organizer, team ASD 360Mtb, did a really great job this year with trails selection. Most of them will take place on slopes under Socerb and in Val Rosandra, Both places with excellent but tough terrain. Two stages are still going to take place at Cattinara, the original venue in first two editions.

Who are the favorites?

Presence at Enduro 3 Camini what already confirmed by load-year’s winner, Orbea enduro rider Vid Persak crew who had to skip almost whole 2014 season due to injury to, but he is coming back ready for new success. First candidate to spoil Persak’s plan is last year’s champ SloEnduro Nejc Rutar (Unior Tools Team) with his team mate Anže Zabjek. There are so Peter Mlinar (KK CRN Trn) and Tadej Razpet (Pedal Racing) who are eager for a win, while Kristijan Medvešček, last year’s winner SloEnduro, is going to skip the first race due to problems with team registration. On the entry list so we can find a wellknown name, the multiple World Champion Michal Prokop 4X (Specialized) who is a strong rival for a victory, as well as Primoz Strancar (Orbea), fasting master of EWS 2014 season.

In women’s competition, absence from the race which confirmed by winner of last two seasons, Ana Zupan (Energijateam.com), who plans to take a break from racing this year. As the strongest candidate for the win Seems to be the Austrian Birgit Braumann (Trek Gravity Girls), but so Nina Rupnikk (SportR.si) is faster and faster each race and she is going to be one of the main favorites for the win. Anyway, the whole winter passed since the last race, so we can expect a bunch of strong riders going for a win. We will not get bored, that’s for sure.

Start on Saturday at 13:00 in Bagnoli

Saturday’s part of the event will start at 13:00 in Bagnoli, San Dorligo Della Valle, not far from Trieste. Riders will head up to Socerb and Beka village, where they have start of the special stage at 14.15.
