Last weekend, the spanish OpenAstur enduro series kicked off on snowy trails – surely not the first thing to expect in Spain. While the training in saturday took place under pouring rain and even hail, there was a lot of snow in the night before raceday – A big challenge for the organisators because they had to remove lots of broken branches from the trails.

The bad weather reduced the number of participants from 151 inscribed starters to 135 finaly starting.

Due to the muddy conditions, the trails were really hard to master: only 77 riders reached the finish line – exhausted but happy!
