First Look: Ergon BA3 Superenduro backpack

Ergon BA3 Superenduro

With the official start into the summer, our editorial team took the first rays of sunshine to strap the Ergon BA3 Superenduro on our back. As the name suggests, the backpack is especially produced for the ambitious trail-use and is not stingy with his special features. With a volume of 15liters (expandable to 17liters) the Superenduro is a compact mountain bike backpack for the areas All Mountain and Enduro.

For a perfect fit, especially the 4-way adjustable carrying system helps you to find a comfortable carrying position quickly. Through the self-adjusting shoulder straps and an aluminum mold rail in the back, which can be adjusted to the driver’s anatomy accurately you always have a good feeling on your back. The broad and elastic waist straps can be adjusted with one hand and also contribute to a good overall impression.

With its numerous storage compartments the backpack offers enough space for hydration, tools, etc. and represents with Fullface and Protector straps an ideal backpack for sporty racing applications. The editors missed only a slightly more stable upper. Integrated HiLumen reflectors inserts are increasing the security while wearing it at night. We’ll see what the BA3 Superenduro will bring out in the future.
Note: Despite the backpack’s name you won’t be allowed to participate in enduro races like the Italian Superenduro without an additional back protector as the Ergon BA3 Superenduro doesn’t have an integrated one.
