Urge have always led the charge when it comes to enduro specific helmets. Their Archi Enduro series have always featured a high level of venting with maximum protection and comfort. They have just released the new Archi Enduro RR + (Race Ready) which answers that ongoing issue of where to store your goggles while on transfers or climbing. Here is the news direct from URGE:

“With the launch of the Archi Enduro RR, we rightly told you that it was the ultimate helmet for enduro racing. And still, we kept a last little surprise and evolution that we will make you discover on this version of the RR +, limited edition. This helmet is delivered with high-end goggles equipped with a patented side attach system. The + means that with only one hand, whether you’re on a top of a stage or at the departure of a transfer section, you can fix the goggles within a couple of seconds on your face or at the backside of your helmet. The goggle kit can be bought separately and adapted on your Archi Enduro RR. You’ll see that it’s really clever and very convenient during races.”

Our Impressions of the Urge Archi Enduro RR +

We look forward to testing the new Archi Enduro RR + helmet, the 929 g helmet with its integrated goggle retainer could be just the job for fast paced enduro racing and alpine missions. At €399 it is certainly not cheap, but we really like the open and protective construction, look out for a full review soon.
