Felt Bicycles today releases its new “Double Dare” video featuring German
dirt jump rider Gregor Laucht riding the Felt Double Dee 30 on the ski slopes in Switzerland. Filmed in January 2015, the village of Braunwald provided the perfect playground to test the limits of the Double Dee 30 in mint powder conditions, demonstrating the full range of fat bike capabilities.

The Double Dee is Felt’s all-conditions fat tire bike with 80mm drilled out rims and 26 x 4” tires. The responsive aluminum frame with a custom hydroformed fork, plus Shimano’s 20-speed XT shifters and Deore disc brakes, makes the bike capable of rolling over anything. From powdery snow, to loose sand, to loamy dirt, the Double Dee conquers all conditions and enables riders to have unstoppable fun.

Filmed by Felt’s Videographer and Editor Corey Seip, the video captures the adventure and pure thrill of the Double Dee in snow conditions. The backdrop of Hotel Tödiblick offered the ideal location to test the speed, agility and ride-quality of the new fat bike. “We couldn’t have asked for a better set to film the capabilities of the bike,” said Seip. “We encountered every challenge from snow storms to insane improvised jumps and Gregor conquered it all on his Double Dee.”
