As the media machines fire out endless streams of images of pro riders getting rad, it’s easy to forget that the EWS is not just for professionals. Most of the field is racing a bike that they use ‘day in day out’, for all-day epics and after work blasts. We like to celebrate the amateur racer for they are the foundations of the sport, so we stopped at the top of Stage 5 to check out some real rides.
