Giant Anthem Advanced SX

A well-known name, but a completely new frame: Giant fundamentally revamped and optimised their Anthem model. Of course, it’s still equipped with the well-proven Maestro suspension system but now comes with a metric rear shock. The new Deluxe shock should offer more traction. Coming with a nice spec and a more aggressive geometry, the 120/130mm Anthem looks like a real trail weapon that should offer nice handling and good propulsion. Is this the XC bike that all downhill riders have been waiting for. | giant-bicycles.com

Last year, the Trance Advanced simply received a new paint job, but for 2017 Giant have upped the ante, a ground-up reworking has left their trail bike shining with new brilliance. The legendary Maestro suspension has been further improved and now utilises the new metric Trunnion-Mount-standard. The geometry has evolved too, longer, slacker and with a front end that has been jacked up to 150 mm. The pictured high-end spec costs € 6,799 , including the carbon wheels. The entry level starts at € 1,799 . We already had the chance to take a closer first look on the Giant Trance Advanced some weeks ago.giant-bicycles.com
