Details matter: We’ve refreshed our ENDURO website to put an even greater focus on readability and visual impact. It’s a new digital home for our publishing company, 41 Publishing, and we’ve improved accessibility on our free app – the heart of everything we do. So take a look around and enjoy your favorite bike magazine more intensely than ever.

The changes to our website are subtle – but they’re noticeable, too. We’ve placed greater emphasis on readability and visual impact: streamlined, minimalist, and with deliberate design choices to ensure an even clearer, more enjoyable reading experience. Now you can also switch between the classic light design and a dark mode that’s not only as deep black as a good espresso but also enhances the presentation of our carefully crafted photography. This way, the focus stays where it belongs: on our own content – free from disruptive ads and distracting elements.

You can switch the mode in our menu bar, right next to the language selection.

Who’s behind ENDURO?

With the launch of the new 41 Publishing website, we’ve given our publishing company a digital home – the core behind our successful magazines. Founded in 2011 by brothers Max and Robin Schmitt, with € 6,000 in start-up capital from Grandma Schmitt, the idea has grown into an international team of over 40 passionate individuals. Together, we set trends in the bike world, develop the best comparison tests, and provide in-depth buying advice. In the past, not only did we help spark innovation in the industry but also helped hundreds of thousands of readers make the right decisions – and that’s exactly what we’ll keep on doing.

Get to know our magazines, discover the team behind the pages, and learn what drives us – all on a modern website that’s as clear as our commitment.

These processors have been powering nearly all MacBooks since late 2020 and iMacs since 2021. Just head to the App Store, download the ENDURO app to your Mac, install it, and start reading!

Words & Photos: Peter Walker

About the author

Peter Walker

As editor-in-chief, Peter is as much a man of action as he is of words. This expert, screw-driver-flexing two wheeled-whizz has many envy-inducing characteristics, including a background in motocross, several EWS race plates to his name, and more than 150 recorded days at Whistler Bike Park. However complex the bike and however steep the trail, he’s probably already nailed it, twice. Oh, and he can do it all on skinny tyres too. When it comes to guiding consumers, Peter cut his teeth at Vancouver’s oldest bike shop and now puts pen to paper on the daily translating this know-how into our editorial plan. When not tearing up Stuttgart’s local trails while testing bikes, he loves nothing more than loading up his self-renovated VW T5 and hitting the road. The fact that he’s a trained paramedic gives his colleagues reassurance out on the trails. So far we haven’t had to call him by his alias ‘Sani Peter’, so here’s hoping he keeps it right side up for the rest of his time here!
