Best Brand END 2025

14,495 votes from German-speaking countries (GSA) and around the world (INT) decided which brands left the biggest mark on the gravity and enduro scene this year. As in previous years, the results paint an exciting picture: legends defend their titles, underdogs fight their way into the spotlight, and a few contenders definitely raised some eyebrows.

Before we delve into the results of the various categories, we’ve got to give huge thanks to you! Without your votes, this ranking wouldn’t exist. You’re our compass – your feedback shapes our reviews, group tests, and stories.

And now, curtain up for the best mtb brands of 2025!

Our readers have spoken: Once again this year, Santa Cruz take the crown for the best mountain bikes!

In the Best Bike Brand category (combined GSA & INT), you made it crystal clear where your loyalties lie once again: Santa Cruz take the top spot. The legendary Californian brand defend their title with confidence, remaining your number one when it comes to prestige, performance, and pure bike love.

Specialized stay hot on their heels but, as in 2024, narrowly miss out on the crown. Things get interesting in third place: Atherton Bikes overtake RAAW, who took bronze last year. This year, custom high-end builds from Wales trump gravity-focused beasts from Germany.

Also at the top Santa Cruz!

What you vote for Your Next Mountain Bike reveals which bikes you’re actually eyeing for your next ride, and it differs significantly from the Best Bike Brand ranking, which is more about long-term brand loyalty and image.

In 2025, Santa Cruz unexpectedly grab the overall win here too, jumping from fifth place last year straight to the top. Specialized hold steady with consistently strong numbers, thereby securing second place. The breakout brand of the year: Atherton Bikes, making their top 5 debut in 2025.

Propain stay nearly unchanged from last year in terms of percentage and confidently defend fourth place. Rounding out the ranking are Canyon – still in the top 5, but down two spots compared to 2024.

Best Brand 2025: Components & Accessories

A mountain bike is more than just the sum of its parts – but sometimes it’s the smallest detail that makes or breaks your ride. So, which brands aren’t just good, but truly stand out when it comes to components?

Just like we did with complete bikes, we evaluated the votes from both our German-speaking and international readers. The result? A fascinating mix: in some categories, there’s a global consensus; in others, we see clear regional differences.

Ultimately, however, only one thing matters: the brand with the most overall votes earns the Best Brand title. So, here they are, your favourite components and accessories brands!

The Lucky Winner of 2025

One of the reasons we love our reader surveys so much is because, besides getting to know you better, it’s also a chance to surprise you with amazing prizes!

Together with Atherton Bikes, we gave away an Atherton S.150 to one lucky participant. Our reader Scott has already been notified and can’t wait for the CNC machine to start working its magic on his custom bike!
