The Uvex Quatro Integrale is the successor to the Quatro Pro and therefore the top-end model in Uvex’s mountain bike range. Thanks to a new manufacturing process, the naked EPS edges typical of previous Uvex models are a thing of the past – the new Quatro Integrale looks way better than the previous versions. In addition, the shell of the new Quatro stretches further down the neck, providing extended coverage in this vulnerable area. In typical Uvex fashion, the Quatro Integrale features a three-point strap system with a 360° head-ring. Features such as a mesh and ratchet-fastener are also typical of the German manufacturer.

The large visor comes with a three-stage adjustment and offers enough room for a pair of goggles. Unfortunately, the mix of matt and glossy surfaces makes the visor look a bit cheap compared to the rest of the test-field. Moreover, in the highest setting the visor rubs against the helmet shell. Whilst the central air-ducts are quite deep, the Quatro Integrale still feels like one of the hotter helmets in our test. The Quatro Integrale doesn’t offer additional safety systems such as MIPS, and the overall concept is just a bit dated.
