100% R-Core-X DH

These are the skinny jeans of the group. With a very snug fitting DWR Polyester/Spandex 4-way stretch fabric, you are sure to be able to skin-suit your way to aerodynamic victory against your mates. The new 100% R-Core-X pants are perfect if you want a close fit with minimal flapping fabric.

The 100% R-Core-X DH trousers are the tightest in our group test, perfect for lovers of skinny jeans and wild shapes
mtb riding pants trousers review test 11 600x400
The 100% R-Core-X DH trousers were the first to show wear on the seat panel, better suited to fast-paced DH action than long day pedals

We love the BOA closure at the waist which is fast and precise. The stretch fabric is very comfortable with ample room for knee pads and we also like the laser cut ventilation holes and the silicone print on the waistband to stop them riding down. Beware in cars parks after the ride – the fit is so snug that when you pull them down, they often take your liner shorts with them too. The zipped pockets are secure with a neat inner pocket inside for a tool.

We loved the stretch of the 100% R-Core-X DH, but with no reinforced panel on the seat we started to notice wear after a few long rides, making these better for fast-and-loose shuttle days and hike-a-bike DH runs.
