Best Value Endura Singletrack II Jacket

Endura know a thing or two about making high-quality waterproofs and the Scottish brand is well known for championing value for money. The Endura Singletrack II jacket is a no-frills, all-you-need jacket for not a lot of money. While the finish is not quite as high-quality as the most expensive jackets in this test and the zip flap does occasionally get caught in the zip, we can forgive it these small faults as it’s an amazing jacket for the price. With a tough ExoSshell 20 3 layer fabric, with a 10,000 mm, 20,000 g/m2 rating, underarm vent zips, roll away hood, lined collar and adjustable cuffs, it’s got everything you really need.

We love that the drop tail is not too long, making the jacket versatile enough for wearing to the pub or for commuting. The fact that it looks good too is a definite bonus. No, the fabric and construction did not keep us dry like the more expensive MT500 II, and it’s certainly a warm jacket, so you will need to use the vents on a hot day, but as a chuck-on-and-go option, it leaves enough money in the zipped chest pocket for some decent mud tyre and goggles.

The Singletrack II jacket is perfect for those who won’t let bad weather get in the way of their hunt for the perfect trail. Despite our best attempts to kill it, the Singletrack II proved extremely durable. It’s out Best Value tip for sure.
