Pro Bike Check: Peter Lloyd's Whyte G-150 Works

At the recent Whyte Scottish Open King&Queen of the Hill, UK bike company Whyte were headline sponsors for the event, and had brought along their range of bikes. Their bright orange G-150 Works SCR was drawing quite a crowd, with an incredible spec for the £3999 price tag. Whyte had also brought along their gravity enduro team and Junior rider, Peter Lloyd took the podium in his category. Offering cutting edge geometry and a dream build, we stopped by to check out his G-150.

Pete runs a 2.4 Maxxis Highroller II 3C EXO on the front, pumped up to 24psi.

The 750mm bar is the new 35mm standard for added stiffness and control. — The 750mm bar is the new Easton Haven and uses the 35mm standard for added stiffness and control. The G-150 comes with a SRAM XO1 drivetrain with SRAM Guide RSC brakes

On the rear is a 2.3 Highroller II 3C EXO running at 29 Psi. Tubeless of course.

Pete chooses to use Mallet DH pedals to drive the 34 tooth chainring.

The Monarch Plus Debonair is running at 185Psi with 4 volume spacers.
