More than 40 experts from 10 countries joined this year’s event to test, analyze and judge the best and most innovative products of 2016 in Kronplatz/San Vigilio – Dolomites. The Award recognises either outstanding product design and function, or innovation that sets a new standard and inspires future product generations and forward-thinking approaches.

The high-quality finish and innovative two-part construction demonstrate Ergon’s dedication to high-performance backpacks. Developed with Fabien Barel, the four-way adjustable harness and unique articulated centre section allow excellent freedom of movement and ensure that a full face can be carried easily. The hydration bladder sits horizontally at the bottom to keep the centre of gravity low, making the pack incredibly stable in use. With more storage space than the BE1 and BE2, the BE3 is the perfect pack for those who want to carry a little more without sacrificing high speed enjoyment.
