EUROBIKE 2015 | Gore Survival jacket and all new lady collection
Alongside their new range of colourful and practical apparel, GORE couldn’t keep stand-goers away from their survival jacket, the GORE Rescue WS AS, which is destined to become a permanent trail companion in any backpack as it proves its defiance to the weather conditions.
Nicely timed to coincide with the firm’s 30 year anniversary, GORE’s generously-sized stand at EUROBIKE 2015 was home to their brand new GORE Rescue WS AS jacket, which weighs just 126 g (size large) and boasts effective protection against the wind and weather. Featuring a WINDSTOPPER membrane, taped seams and a sealed zip, the extremely lightweight and packable jacket has been designed to eliminate any potential weaknesses where the elements could penetrate.
Given its low weight and tiny size when packed down, the jacket is highly unlikely to ever see the inside of your wardrobe – instead destined to spend the entire year in your backpack, and – in the case of a downturn in the weather – it’ll safely keep you shielded and dry.
GORE’s new bike collection for 2016 was also on display, offering more colour for your cash. With their ‘Power Trail Lady’ female line, GORE have designed a line of riding-specific apparel for mountain biking females, who aren’t willing to compromise when it comes to functionality or aesthetics. Offering hoodies, shorts and jerseys (long-sleeved, short-sleeved and vest-style), GORE can clad you whatever the conditions.
The products are due to be released in March 2016.
