EUROBIKE 2015 | KORE News – Stronghold Chainrings

The stateside company of KORE with Taiwanese production facilities had a legion of exciting new products to present at EUROBIKE 2015, with a trio that particularly caught our eye including their brand new Stronghold chainrings, CONTOUR grips and the new FUZE II saddle.

All eyes were firmly focused on the new KORE Stronghold chainrings, because – as the name suggests – their patented tooth design has been designed keep the chain so well fixed to this aluminium 7075 T6 chainring that a chainguide is claimed to be superfluous.

Die KORE Stronghold-Kettenblätter sind aktuell in zwei Ausführungen für SRAM Direct Mount (mit 26 - 38 Zähnen) und 104 mm Lochkreisdurchmesser erhältlich. Kettenblätter für SHIMANO XT und XTR sollen folgen.
The KORE Stronghold chainrings are currently available in two models, with one compatible with SRAM Direct Mount (26 – 38 teeth) and 104 mm bcd. Shimano XT and XTR compatible chainrings are due to be launched soon.
Das Gewicht des 32er-Zahnkranzes wird mit 39 g Gewicht angegeben.
The 32-tooth chainring is claimed to weigh 39 g.
Das Stronghold Kettenblatt ist neben schwarz in weiteren sechs Farben erhältlich.
Besides black, the Stronghold comes in a further six colours.

Die von KORE patentierte unterschiedliche Ausformung der Zähne soll dafür sorgen, dass die Kette "bombenfest" auf dem Zahnkranz haftet.
KORE’s patented tooth design should guarantee that the chain is kept ‘bomb-proof’ to the sprocket.

According to KORE, the Stronghold chainrings will be available in shops from October 2015, but final prices are yet to be announced.

Die neuen ergonomisch geformten Lenkergriffe CONTOUR sollen in grau und schwarz lieferbar sein.
The new ergonomically designed CONTOUR grips will come in black and gray.
KORE gibt das Gewicht der Lenkergriffe CONTOUR mit 98 Gramm (Paar) an.
KORE have stated the weight of the CONTOUR grips as 95 grams per pair.
Den Sattel FUZZE II wird es in mehreren Farbvarianten geben.
The FUZE II saddle will be available in multiple colour options.
Im Untergestell des KORE FUZE II befindet sich eine Aussparung für den Entlastungskanal.
The KORE FUZE II has a cutout on the underside of the saddle to relieve pressure and increase comfort.
