Maloja have a 2016 collection revolving around Rock ‘n’ Roll, they believe Rock ‘n’ Roll is more than just an era, more than a way of living or thinking, they say its an attitude and one they want to translate into their clothing for next year. The theme of Rock ‘n’ Roll literally translates as rock meaning for the mountains, climbing and being outside and the roll for biking, road or mountain.

The Maloja stand at Eurobike 2015 was a funky affair, a large booth created as a mountain refuge, a tented entrance with vintage seats created a retreat from the thunder of hungry traders and journalists treading the foothpaths between. Maloja’s funky theme continued inside, under the stings of naked lightbulbs they had on display some of the most detailed and original apparel seen yet.

In the ladies section we picked out a selection of the all mountain kit including the DoveM AOP jersey with its sweet graphics and the yellow waterproof Gortex SueM shorts as favourite pieces. Its great to see another contender for quality women’s waterproof shorts for the winter.

Over on the men’s side of the mountain hut we sought out neutral shorts with a range of mustard and burgundy jersey’s to inject colour. One particular pair of shorts drew our attention, the BillM, had a neat chainlink pattern making stripes over the short, a cool fabric!
