The team at Giro have rummaged deep into their box of tricks to create an exciting new line-up of products for both their road cycling collections and the mountain bike range. Here are the highlights from the new line-up!

Giro – Bikebekleidung (und Holzvertäfelung) in Perfektion!
Giro – bike apparel (and wooden designs) to perfection!

Trail helmet | Montaro (men) & Montara (women)

Optisch etwas auffälliger kommt der Giro Montara für Frauen daher, z. B. in knalligem Orange.
A slightly more eye-catching colourway for the women’s Giro Montara, shown here in bright orange.

The Montaro and Montara mark Giro’s efforts to design a gender-specific open-face helmet for trail and enduro riding. According to Giro, these helmets offer excellent ventilation thanks to the numerous air holes and deep air channels. Additional cooling is achieved by the new hydrophilic and antimicrobial pads, which not only absorb up to 10x their weight in liquid, but increase wearing comfort too.

Trotz MIPS ist die Innenschale sehr filigran. So strömt die Luft ungehindert durch den Helm.
Even with MIPS the internal shell of the helmet is very delicate so that airflow is unobstructed.

The rubber outer sections around the air vents towards the back are intended to keep the goggle strap securely in place. An adaptor comes with every order to enable helmet lights and action cams to be fitted onto the helmet. Alongside the EPS foam that covers a large section at the back of the head, the Montaro and Montara both feature MIPS technology for added safety.

Coming in six different colour schemes, from bright and bold to understatedly classic, the 179 € helmet will be available from October. The male and female helmets naturally differ in more than just the designs – they also have gender-specific sizings.

Trailshirt CA Ride Crew Pockets

Strava-Rekorde brechen oder an der Eisdiele abhipstern? Mit diesen Shirts geht beides!
Shirts that are just as cool to hang out at the coffee shop in as they are to crush some Strava dreams!

A little bit vintage, a casual fit and created with a brilliantly well-chosen, lightweight and functional material, these Giro t-shirts have got our seal of approval. The CA Ride Crew Pockets t-shirts immediately hooked us with their overall image, the colours and the road jersey-style back pockets. Made from Merino wool, the tees are super light, quick-drying and insulating.

Die Rennradtrikot-ähnlichen Taschen am Rücken überzeugen nicht nur optisch.
Borrowing from a road riding jersey, these back pockets aren’t just there for show.

Whether you’re looking to crush some Strava dreams or enjoy a post-ride beer, the CA Ride Crew tee fits the bill. The tees are of a high quality, but this naturally comes at a price. Retailing at 119 €, the tees are available from October in three different colourways and four sizes. And don’t despair women, Giro have also created a female-specific CA SL Ride jersey.

Trail shoes | Jacket

Echter Allround-Schuh: der Giro Jacket für 100 €.
A genuine all-round shoe: the Giro Jacket for 100 €.

Whatever the adventure, the Giro Jacket shoes can get you through it. Functional, comfortable, and high quality, these flat-pedal shoes are made for trail riding, downhilling or just a casual jaunt. They feature grippy soles and a secure fit thanks to the cushioning on the sides and heels. With four colour options, this skate style shoe cuts a fine figure – we like!

Weighing 420 g and retailing at 100 €, the Giro Jacket will also be available from October in the sizes 37–48.
