First Look | BH presents its new trail bike, the Lynx 4.8 27.5″ Carbon

During Riva del Garda’s BIKE Festival, Spain’s BH bikes used the opportunity to present their latest model: the BH Lynx 4.8 27.5″ Carbon. Just like their widely known aluminium model, this newest carbon model also boasts 120mm travel and the renowned Split Pivot rear concept.

With the new Lynx 4.8 27.5″ Carbon, BH aimed to create a lightweight trail bike with some serious speed and fun factors to boot. A brief glance at the geometry confirms that they’ve more than successfully covered the basics, with the long main frame (reach 458mm, size L) and the short chainstay (426mm) measuring up well. Paired wisely with the 68° head angle and the proven Split Pivot rear suspension, the bike appears to be a pretty well thought-out affair.

The new BH Lynx 4.8 27.5″ Carbon will come in both four build variants and four sizes, weighing between 11.8kg and 11.3kg. Shifting is performed on all three models by Shimano components while Magura brakes take the strain.

The new BH Lynx 4.8 27.5″ Carbon will be available from June, retailing between 3,497 € – 6,783 €.
