First Look: Commencal Meta Trail & Meta AM V4 and hardtail

The new Commencal Meta AM V4 has attracted a lot of interest during the weeks before Eurobike. During the fair in Friedrichshafen, we had a closer look at the trail version of the Commencal Meta AM V4 and discovered a really hot deal.

Next to the AM V4, one can get a trail version of the new Commencal Meta with 120mm travel.
Commencal presented the Meta AM V4 and with the new Meta Trail V4 (120mm version). The bike will be available in three different versions and two colour options. The prices will range between 1.999 and 3.199 EURO. The top model will weigh 11.7kg and will come with a RockShox chassis, made up of a SID RCT3 120 mm fork and a Monarch RT3 damper.

A 1×11 drive is a must have for the trail bike.

Short stem and a wide handlebar guarantee lots of fun, although travel is quite short.

The Commencal Meta AM V4 convinces with a fine frame and stylish design. Its riding capabilities will be tested in next issue’s (#13) review.
Next to the fully suspended highlights for the upcomming season, one could have a look at Commencal’s new Enduro hardtail Meta HT AM with 150mm travel at the front. It will be available in three different versions and will be priced between hot 999 and 1.599 EURO.

The Commencal Meta HT AM will be available with the ‘essentials’ spec for 1.099 EURO.

The cable channel below the top tube guarantees a clean appearance of the complete bike.
