Likely the first thing you’ll notice is the thin sheet metal used for the front plate. The idea is to have a clean, modern look on the handlebar. The uninterrupted, almost integrated surface also requires less clamping force to keep your bars safe.

The separate, black CNC part is used to tension the spring steel band to distribute an equal force around the bar. The Hugo is made to fit a 1 ⅛” steertube with a height of 42mm and fasten a 31.8mm bar. It features 10° of rise with a reach of 50mm.
![If "espresso machine" comes to mind when looking at it, you're right. It is made in the same factory as some high-end espresso machines and takes some aesthetic inspiration from them.](https://enduro-mtb.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/First-Look-dhsign-hugo-stem-ENDURO-Magazine-1-von-7-780x520.jpg)
