Rocday WOOD Jersey

Loosely cut, the long-sleeved WOOD Jersey is designed to be worn in mild temperatures. Nicely understated in design, the production appears to a high quality with slightly tailored sleeves that are longer than a regular top to ensure your wrists keep covered while you ride. As the temperature drops the WOOD Jersey teams brilliantly with a thermal base layer underneath. It has a sewn-in piece of fabric with which to wipe your goggles and retails at the very fair price of € 35.90.

It’s all in the name: the WOOD Jersey’s name reflects its wood-style print. A lightweight long-sleeved jersey for mild temperatures.

Despite the casual cut it also has slightly tailored sleeves so there’s no excess flapping.

Cut slightly longer, it’s more than capable of keeping up with your skillful, wild manoeuvres.

Rocday ROC Shorts

Compared to the blue-green colourway of the WOOD Jersey, the ROC Shorts are quite understated so will basically match any jersey in your wardrobe. The robust-looking 4-way stretch material is comfortable and water-resistant. The shorts have a satisfying length, and can be worn with or without knee pads. They are tightened with Velcro at the bottoms and have enough space to fit large knee protectors underneath. The waist is also tightened with a generous Velcro buckle that keeps the shorts secure. To protect your phone and other essentials from mud and rain, the deep pockets have watertight zips. There are no inner shorts with a chamois inside the ROC Shorts, so you’ll have to wear those separately. Coming in either dark gray or dark blue, the shorts retail at € 89.90.

Rocday ELEMENT Gloves

The ELEMENT gloves are the golden middle ground in Rocday’s glove collection. Alongside the ultra lightweight FLOW gloves and the warmer EVO model, the ELEMENT gloves are designed to be the classic all-rounder. The additional terry cloth insert is on hand (literally) for you to wipe sweat out of your face. These gloves come in three colours and cash in at € 33.90.

The ELEMENT gloves are uncushioned and therefore provide a direct sense of grip.

Conclusion

This Rocday outfit cuts a fine figure on the trails. And while none of the parts offer anything groundbreaking, they’re solidly made with no weaknesses to show. In terms of pricing, Rocday is definitely competitive and leverage superb value for money.
