design-innovation-award-five-ten-freerider-vxi-schuhe

FiveTen is paving new paths with its new Freerider VXI. Instead of a typical textured profile covering the entire length of the sole, a flat-soled area of the shoe lies under the ball of your feet where they meet the pedals. Adapted from the qualities of climbing shoes, this offers real advantages:

  • Better support standing with a greater contact area on the pedal.
  • Repositioning of the foot is made easier.
  • The thinner sole allows higher sensitivity and better feeling on the pedals. More enjoyable walking, which means more comfort “off-the-bike”
