Formula goes Boost: The new Formula Selva features the Internal Floating Technology for smooth function and the Compression Tuning System (CTS) for a great level of compression adjustment – both known from the Formula 35. Find all information on the fork in the official press release below:

The pinnacle of Enduro fork performance is now available in a Boost version. The exclusive Internal Floating Technology (IFT) gives the fork a previously unachievable level of smooth function while the Compression Tuning System (CTS) gives the rider a greater level of compression adjustment. The Selva is the sum of all our suspension knowledge and your definitive weapon for Enduro.

The IFT (Internal Floating Technology) is what truly differentiates our forks from any other fork. Smoothness is very important in terms of suspension performance. All forks, regardless of their stiffness, experience some kind of lateral stress while riding. This type of stress increases the friction of the internal parts. Thanks to Formula’s design, our hydraulic cartridge is structurally merged with the stanchions and lower legs. In a riding situation, our internals compensate for the external stresses placed on the fork. This causes an incredible reduction of friction.

The overall fork compression damping profile can be adjusted based on the rider’s needs by changing the CTS (Compression Tuning System). This set of three valve heads change the compression rate from soft (grey), medium (blue), and firm (red).
Located under the low speed compression knob, the valve heads are easily switched with a simple tool without losing fluid or needing to bleed the cartridge.

The high speed compression is managed by our wide range lockout lever, located on top of the cartridge.
Our RCC (Remote Cartridge Control) is a handlebar mounted 13 position lever created put control in the hands of the rider. Becoming a part of the cartridge, the RCC adjusts the high speed damping from fully open to completely locked out.
Its innovative design eliminates cables and hydraulic fluid; instead the hose rotates with the movement of the lever changing the compression damping.

The ability of a fork to resist flexing is a key factor for maximum riding precision. A fork that rebounds too fast may make riding unsafe with an overall lack of control, above all when braking and cornering.
In the same way, it is important that the fork is not too stiff, because it may make riding too tiring. Many riders are skeptical about using boost because they fear the forks have too much flex and added weight. When designing the Selva we had a fundamental aim in mind, finding the perfect balance point between stiffness and flex, this is the same as our standard forks.
Thanks to the Hexagon design, the natural flex of the fork has been dramatically decreased with this lightweight method. In this way, we have managed to combine the advantages of the standard boost with the stiffness of a traditional fork.

Connecting wheel to fork, we have the ILS (Integrated Locking System) 15mm thru axle, designed to take the guess work out of wheel attachment. Once tightened, the ILS lever is designed to be removed and reinserted at any position for perfect alignment with the fork lowers. The ILS lever may also be removed and left behind during a ride for further weight savings on an already light weight fork. Instead of the standard lever, you can use the ILS Key Tool on your Integrated Locking System. The ILS Key Tool makes your thru-axle lighter and thanks to its design you get 2mm and 5mm allen key integrated in your fork.

Alternative colors are available for a higher customization. In addition to black, our forks are available in two additional colors: Matt ULTRAVIOLET and Matt WHITE. Additionally, you can customize your fork with our Decals. The kits are available in two color versions: ULTRAVIOLET and STEALTH – compatible with all our forks.
