Other than actually riding, what’s better than tinkering with your bike? Naturally, you’ve got to have the requisite tools, which is where the Pedro’s Master Tool Kit enters the scene. Packed into a compact hard case, it’s essentially a portable professional workshop, albeit slightly lower quality than certain costly competitors.

Make sure you purchase the latest model (the 3.1), as the 3.0 which we tested was missing crucial bits of kit like a hammer, needle nose pliers, and a set of torx keys. One torx driver broke while we were using it, but it was replaced under warranty. The additional space in the case is ideal to stow away a spare derailleur, pedals, and a tube, meaning you’ll never be without the essentials. Quadratic and practical, this black case doesn’t come cheap, but it’s well suited for use in your shed or flung in the car for travel and racing weekends.
