The inaugural Series has been a great success with every round at or near capacity, equating to almost 2,000 entries across the six rounds. The Scottish Enduro Series is today thrilled to confirm the 2015 Series, again giving us six rounds of racing. The provisional dates for the Series are:

  • Round 1 14th and 15th March
  • Round 2 18th and 19th April
  • Round 3 13th and 14th June
  • Round 4 15th and 16th August
  • Round 5 12th and 13th September
  • Round 6 17th and 18th of October

Following the announcement, Duncan Nisbet said; “The response from riders to the Series has been amazing and their feedback has been instrumental in shaping next year’s Series. We are all really excited about the final round in Kinlochleven and look forward to delivering a bigger and better series in 2015.”

The 2015 Series will see the introduction of an Enduro Lite class for riders new to the sport, enabling them to stick their toes in the water and try Enduro. Enduro Lite will involve shorter routes and miss some of the more technical stages. At the other end of the field there will be a pro/elite category in 2015. David ‘Spook’ Munro explained; “These changes are designed to allow us to grow the sport and Enduro Lite is the perfect way to engage with grass roots riders. Scottish riders feature high on the world stage and we need to give those riders the opportunity to compete in world class events on home ground, as well as giving others the chance to see them perform.”

The Scottish Enduro Series is delighted to confirm that POC will again be the Series headline sponsor for 2015. Barry Martin from 2 Pure said; “We are excited that POC will continue as the title sponsor next year. Working with the organisers this year has been excellent, we have felt really involved and part of a great team. The series has many great synergies with the POC product and we look forward to contributing to the Series success in the future.”

The 2015 Series venues will be confirmed early next year. Frazer Coupland explained; “We have experienced a great variety of venues throughout 2014 and we can assure riders that they will not be disappointed next year. We are currently looking at a variety of new venues as well as considering how we can improve on some of the 2014 venues. If there are destinations, venues or event organisers out there who would like to host a round in 2015, then we would invite them to get in touch.”
