The latest issue of ENDURO is out now and bang on time for the long Easter weekend! With ‘open your mind’ as the theme, it’s an appeal to any pig-headed riders out there stubbornly writing off new developments without a second thought! Download the new issue on your iPad or iPhones and bury yourself in exciting tests, insightful analysis and some action-packed travel stories.

The past has surely taught us one thing: progress and innovation drive the sport further. And it all contributes to making us better, faster riders, ultimately allowing us to have a ton more fun, right?

Dropper posts are the best example. Just remember how the majority of mountain bikers brushed them off as totally unnecessary, and now they’re basically a staple component on our bikes. So given their importance today, we’ve been out testing the latest generation and braving a look at the future. This issue reveals not only the best seat posts but also the best knee protectors for the season.

Being successful means focusing on your goals – and XC pros are surely some of the most goal-orientated bunch of riders out there! They train like beasts, asking their bodies and their material to go to hell and back in the name of speed, performance and toughness. They rely on training and routines, and aren’t not particularly keen on mixing up the status quo – perhaps that’s why XC bikes haven’t really seen many changes to their geometry over the years. Add that to the fact that unlike amateur riders, pros have other priorities when it comes to bike design, and you won’t be surprised to see the interesting outcome in our group test of XC bikes. But this issue includes way more than just tests: we sat down with six industry experts to discuss how the future is going to affect the geometry on XC bikes, and dived into some hardcore research to check out whether e-mountain biking can be classified as cheating.

For racers out there, we’ve got two exciting stories right up your street and all the way from the Andalucia Bike Race, where Veronika and Allesandro went to hell and back, and just in time for the launch of the Enduro World Series in a haze of Chilean dust, we’ve taken a closer look at the community.

Goodbyes are never easy, but we still make them pretty regularly, and that’s what ENDURO founder Robin Schmitt is doing. A lifelong advocate of challenges and grabbing potential where potential could lie, Robin and his brother Max founded E-MOUNTAINBIKE Magazine two years ago, which was the world’s first ever E-MTB publication and it’s already the world-leading magazine on the topic. Since January he’s been focusing on his latest project, which involves creating an ultra exciting road cycling magazine. As you’ll see on www.granfondo-cycling.com the GRAN FONDO – Cycling Magazine approaches road cycling from a different dimension and is so far removed from being a #fullroadie that any open-minded rider is going to love it. Here at ENDURO we’re welcoming Christoph Bayer to step up and take the reins of the magazine.

As of right now, all the exciting articles can be downloaded from our interactive iPad or iPhone app, and they’ll make their way onto the website over the next few weeks. Have fun reading!
