NS DEFINE: clever details on NS’s new 29er trail and enduro bike
With the new DEFINE, NS Bikes has committed itself to 29″ wheels for their trail and enduro bikes. The NS DEFINE is the successor of the SNABB and comes with many exciting new features. Read on to find out what it’s capable of.
NS bikes is sure that anyone who has ever ridden 29″ wheels will not want to go back. The new DEFINE comes exclusively with large wheels, but with two suspension travel configurations. It will be available with either 130 mm or 155 mm of travel at the rear. The front triangle and rear linkage remain the same, only the lower shock mount and the rear shock have to be replaced. Besides which, the bottom bracket can be adjusted by 5 mm with the different shock mounts.
The geometry of the NS DEFINE
The DEFINE will only be available in two sizes, but with the help of an offset headset reach can be adjusted by 10 mm. Overall, the bike follows the latest trends and comes with a long reach, a low bottom bracket and a slack head angle. The seat angle is quite steep at 75.5° on the DEFINE 150 and 76.5° on the DEFINE 130; the 440 mm chainstays promise a good mix of stability and playfulness.

The NS DEFINE in detail
A few clever details on the new NS DEFINE aim to make the life of its riders easier. The main bearing is deeply integrated into the frame and should be excellently protected against the elements. The bearings on the rocker link are larger than before and shouldn’t only improve the rigidity but also increase the service life.
NS DEFINE Spec
