Oakley DRT5 Helmet with innovative "Eyewear Landing Zone"

Glasses specialist Oakley presented a new mountain bike helmet at Eurobike, developed together with DH professional Greg Minaar. The Oakley DRT5 has a number of unique features, first and foremost a clever holder for your glasses.

The Oakley DRT5 is the first MTB helmet from the eyewear specialist

The most striking feature of the new Oakley DRT5 is the “Eyewear Landing Zone,” which fastens your glasses on the top of the helmet. The DRT 5 also features MIPS and a BOA FS1 fastening system. In addition to the DRT5, Oakley also presented a new line of clothing for mountain bikers.

Foldable latches on both sides of the helmet secure your glasses to the top of your helmet during uplifts or when taking a break

A washable silicone strip supposedly absorbs sweat and channels it to the back

The DRT5 relies on a BOA FS1-1 fastening system

The TX1 Lace Retention System is designed to ensure non-interference with your glasses

The visor of the DRT5 can easily be raised to make room for a goggle

New jerseys and shorts for mountain bikers complete the Oakley look

The new products will be available in spring 2019.
