Pivot is taking the European market seriously and is setting up an office in Stuttgart for marketing, sales, and aftermarket service support. Pivot Cycles’ end consumers, retail dealers and distribution partners will benefit from various service tools, individualized advice, and fast shipments of spare parts with our new office in Stuttgart. Starting this summer, fully assembled bikes will be promptly delivered from Germany to German retailers and our European distribution partners. Here are the latest news from Pivot:

In 2015, Pivot Cycles strengthened its presence in Europe with its first demo fleet of 15 bikes. A mere three years ago Pivot hired Volker Knaus, who had an immediate and positive effect on increasing the marketing and sales activities in Europe, laying the groundwork for today’s Pivot Cycles European operations. Complete bikes and frames will be delivered from Germany starting this summer to meet the increasing demands and interest in Pivot Cycles. Even now, Pivot’s customers are already beginning to benefit from the Stuttgart office.

“It’s crazy to see how fast it all went! What started out as a one-man show, a big van, and 15 demo bikes in 2015;
today it is a powerful and amazing team that stands behind Pivot Cycles here in Germany.”
– Volker Knaus, European Brand Manager

Founded in late 2016, Pivot Cycles EU GmbH now has 8 permanent employees and several part-time helpers who support our very busy demo events. Emily Landeryou, a longtime Pivot Cycles US employee, immigrated from the USA to Bielefeld, Germany where the bike assembly takes place. She is overseeing the quality control on all bikes as well as the day-to-day business operations of the GmbH.

All marketing and sales activities will be coordinated from Stuttgart. There are now over 70 demo bikes that are in use throughout Europe during the season for demo events. Pivot Cycles has added five new employees at the beginning of the year to strengthen the European service and marketing team: Florian Reichenberger, Hannah Deusch, Matthias Laschczok, Christoph Scholz, and Marco Felske are the new faces that will be at the events, on the phone, and online.

In his second year for Pivot Cycles EU GmbH, Matthias Sandbrink will take over the coordination and organization of the European demo fleet and take care of all technical matters in the new service office. At Pivot Cycles, service and quality is the primary focus. If you need to arrange a demo test ride, order spare parts, have a technical question answered, or you just want to say how much you love Pivot, the right person will help you with all your Pivot Cycles needs at the service office in Stuttgart.

From Stuttgart, you will receive prompt answers to all your Pivot Cycles questions about the bikes; whether by e-mail, telephone, Facebook or the chat function on the homepage. Pivot’s excellent customer service team will be here to help! Warranty claims will be handled from our Stuttgart office for all European countries. Spare parts are also being stocked in Stuttgart to ensure that customers are back on their bikes in the shortest time possible.

“We know from our own experience in the USA how important it is for our customers to have direct personal contact with the manufacturer. With the service office in Stuttgart and the bike assembly in Bielefeld, we offer our sales partners and our customers the best quality, fast delivery times, and constant availability.”

– Chris Cocalis, CEO and President

In Bielefeld, Pivot Cycles bicycles are carefully assembled by hand and shipped all over Europe. Pivot Cycles now
ships from three different warehouses and assembly sites worldwide: United States, Germany and Taiwan.
