This 1st edition of the Kenny Enduro Ride, takes place 1 hour from Nice, in the birth area of Enduro. From 11th to 13th of July 2015, the Kenny Enduro Ride will not only be about racing but also about discovering new singletracks and spending great time in a friendly atmosphere.
On the menu is: 3 days of shredding some of the most fabulous trails to satisfy your passion for mountainbiking. Riding through 4 different Valleys with the most stunning views. Sleeping in lodges to recover in comfort. Uplift-Shuttles to relieve your calves, and endless descending stages with more than -8000m on the 12 special stages.
Day 1 & 2
Sun in the sky and faces, trails and meals both delicious, forty passionate riders, and a great sunset dinner at the top of Roubion to end the day in style… The Kenny Enduro Ride went on hubcaps, as Mehdi Gabrillargues, who took the lead after Day one by signing three fastest times on 4 possible. After this first day, which took place on July 11th on the green and gray single-tracks of the Maritime Alps (valleys of Tinée and Cians), Mehdi leads in front of Valentin Escriou and Xavier Marovelli, and Nadine Sapin is the first lady. Now, let’s go to the red soil, and let’s see if this new ground changes the rankings…
Saturday, riders discovered the spirit of the Kenny Enduro Ride (unknown stages, wild trails and mountains, friendly atmosphere, zero stress and top level meals). Sunday, let’s continue on this way into the Cians’ forests and magical red earth. Change of scenery and change of leader with Mathieu Gallean and François Dola who passed the former leader Mehdi Gabrillargues, now 3rd place after getting lost in SP2. By the same time, Nadine Sapin continues to double boys, she’s now 19th overall. Tomorrow, all these people will go in the Tinée Valley to finish in style the adventure.
Day 3
All good things come to end. Thus, this Monday July 13th, the Kenny Enduro Ride ended, after a nice third day in the Tinée Valley. It is time to take stock … Time to thank the 40 riders who participated in this first edition. Time to thank the volunteers and actors of this event.
