After the summer shutdown, Open EnduroAstur BTT was recapturing its activity this weekend to celebrate in Deva (Gijon) the fourth test of the period.

In spite of the absence of several of the seeds that continue the contest, the public could enjoy seeing the evolutions of 104 taking part pilots, who had to fight against the present mud in the stretches, fruit of the rain fallen down in the first hour of the morning.

Under this changeable climatology, it was Cantabrian José Antonio Díez Arriola who was done by the victory, demonstrating once again its quality and ratifying its leadership in the Open. Second there would finish the pilot of Northbike – Cannondale, Luis Fernández Ruiz, winner of the category Master’s degree 30, while pilot local Javier Sánchez Blanco would occupy the third drawer of the podium, after there is awarded the best time of the last two timed stretches.

Covadonga González won the Females’ category, being confirmed like solid dominating of the category, accompanying her in the podium Raquel.

Open EnduroAstur BTT 2014 will celebrate its fifth and last test puntuable next October 19 in the locality of Tuña (Tineo).
