Last year our UK Team headed over to ride and race the ‘press-only’ DMR The Ex event down in Exmoor, Southern UK. We were shocked as to how good the riding was around around there, with stages featuring a real mix of terrain, from gnarly rock sections, roots and soft black loam, to steep sandy terns and fast flowing woodland sections, all to keep riders buzzing. This year the ‘proper race’ is just around the corner and we shall be there!

Billed as more of an ‘everything provided’ holiday event, with three days of full-on riding, this is going to be a very unique experience for all those who enter. The event organisers will be offering 35 – 45 kilometres of riding each day, with 2000 meters of climbing (assisted with the first climb uplifted)

Pack Pack-2

There will be 4 – 6 timed gravity-fed stages per day, all fully taped and riders will be able to experience the best of what Exmoor has to offer over the three days racing/riding. Also on offer there will be medical cover, drink and a vintage tea station and camping in a great camp site right next to the trails. Every night the organisers will be putting on locally sourced food, alcohol and evening entertainment.

Pack-6 Pack-5

So think a £250.00 ‘UK version of Trans-whatever!’ and you will be in the right ball park, there are still entries available, but snap them up quick, as this unique event is only open to a total of 80 riders maximum. See you on the trails!
