The French Pyrénées and the Lourdes Mountain Bike Association (Organizer of the first world cup round dh uci) are happy to present you a new event the Pyr’Epic. An ‘All mountain’ race on our mountain singletracks.

The stunning setting, hopefully the weather will be the same when the race comes around!

After the end of the organization of our enduro race in 2013 (Endur’Hautacam Lourdes) we wanted to offer a more “high mountain” event in another format that enduro race. After three years of work and reflection we managed to find the best paths of our valleys and connect them to offer all mountain biking race on two days.

9000m of descents! Although it's not all lift access and half of that will require your own pedal power!

Riders are invited to participate in the first edition of the Pyr’Epic. See you on 3 and 4 September 2016, at 2877m, at the summit of the Pic du Midi, for this all mountain race! A race that connects the Pic du Midi to Lourdes over two days doing a step on Cauterets. All on Pure Pyrenean trails. 120km, 9,000 m of vertical drop for (only …) 4500m of climbing. This is the definition of “all mountain “according to LOURDES VTT.
