SKS USP

The USP, like the 600 psi pump from RockShox, is a pure workshop pump and at € 74.99 it’s no bargain. It comes in its own wooden box and includes various adapters for old shocks, forks, balls and Presta valves. The hose is identical to the MSP – not leaky this time – although it could be longer given the size and weight of the USP. The rotary pressure knob is exactly the same as on the MSP and just as difficult to modulate. At least there is a large easy to read and, above all, accurate gauge. At the other end of the pump, you’ve got a foldable handle. This significantly improves comfort, but unfortunately, you’ll need it.

For a pump of this size, the USP has a relatively poor output while requiring a comparatively high amount of effort. Unless you’ve got a use for the supplied adapters, it’s hard to justify purchasing this pump when comparing it to the RockShox 600 psi or even the 300 psi digital version.
