Birzman Macht
The Macht is a hybrid between an emergency and a standard-sized pump. Though it’s not much bigger than a Zama or a Topeak Microshock it still has a pressure release button and a simple gauge. It is not very accurate, but it’s fine for the intended application. It even pumps slightly easier than the Zama, but it also takes a few more strokes to reach the same pressure.
Unfortunately, the head of the Birzman turns a bit tighter than the competition when it’s pressurised, and at a first glance the price of € 44.90 seems a bit steep. However, considering that is a high-end, fully-featured, sturdy aluminium pump in an extremely slim size, the price seems more warranted. This would be our tip for those who want something as small and reliable as possible with full functionality.
